The Exhale, an intimate sensory overnight experience by HOSTED in collaboration with BlackOlive House and Floral Raffia belongs to the latter. Conceived by three women-led brands with a shared devotion to beauty and intention, it redefines what it means when women come together.
This is not a retreat in the traditional sense. It is a carefully composed pause.
At its core, The Exhale invites women into reprieve a gentle interruption from the demands of productivity, performance and perpetual strength. Through layered sensory experiences thoughtful cuisine, tactile adornment, sculptural florals and immersive design every detail is curated to evoke one simple, radical act: breathing out.
For Black women in particular, this offering carries deeper resonance. In a world that often defines us by resilience and fortitude, choosing ease becomes transformative. Choosing softness becomes powerful. Choosing joy becomes necessary.The Exhale reminds us that when Black women are centred in beauty, when we are invited into environments designed for our delight rather than our endurance, something shifts. The impact reverberates beyond the room into homes, communities, leadership spaces and culture itself.
The experience will be held on the 28th of February 2026 at a Boutique Hotel-Styled Private Home which is carefully selected for women who want to exhale.
